• Hello!
Lydia has 2 goals in life: take good photos and be a good person.
Lydia is a full-time, 20+ year photographer that lives in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle. She hangs out mostly with the people that frequent her couch: her husband, teenage daughter and various pets. Aside from photography, her hobbies mostly involve roller skating, holiday decorating, rabbits, living room karaoke, granny hobbies, homesteading, estate sales and David Bowie.
Fun Facts
Lydia has also worked as a child care provider, professional nanny or house manager most of her life.
She is a cat person (nod to her orange tabby, Cheese) but more importantly a bunny person (hello Toby and Charlie), despite also owning two dogs (what’s up Stella and Winston.)
She was a single Mom (see: “bad ass” in the dictionary) for 7 years.
Kindness is her religion.
She is made of coffee, cheese and dry shampoo.
She has owned over 150 rabbits in her lifetime.
She met Lou Reed at a photography conference in 2003. He had a name-tag that read: “Hello, my name is Lou Reed.”
